It is very difficult to get a moose tag in Maine, especially for non-residents.  Each year, we bid on a Sporting Lodge moose tag and have been successful in getting one.  We then hold a moose auction that we post on our Facebook page.  So far, most people have opted to choose the Buy Now option for fear of missing out.  If you are interested in being added to our mailing list, then please sign up for our Newsletter and select Moose Hunting.  We will then send you our Constant Contact with the Moose Hunting Auction information for that year.

Our moose hunts are always the last week in September.  We have partnered with Tobey Brook Guide Service to take our guests on their hunt.  We can accommodate two people for this experience.  The day starts off before dawn with a coffee station located in the Dining Room and a packed breakfast and lunch waiting for you in the Dining Room refrigerator.  You will come back for dinner at night, rest up, and then do it all over again, until you bag your moose.  Enjoy the photos!
