Facilities Photos

Leen’s Lodge has 12 cabins on 23 acres.  All cabins have a view of West Grand Lake.  Eight cabins are American Plan only (guests dine with us) and four cabins can be either American Plan or Housekeeping (guests prepare their own meals).  For our Housekeeping guests, we recommend stopping in Bangor, which is two hours away, or Princeton, which is 20 minutes away, for groceries.  Two gas stations are also located in Princeton.  Check-in is at 3 pm and check-out is at 10 am.  If you arrive early, we recommend getting lunch at The Pine Tree Store in Grand Lake Stream.  The Pine Tree Store also has a few grocery items and non-ethanol gas.  Take a right out of our property onto Bonney Brook Road.  At the end of Bonney Brook Road, turn right at the stop sign.  Drive about a mile and turn left onto Water Street, just before the bridge.  The Pine Tree Store is at the corner of Water Street and Milford Road.

All American Plan cabins are equipped with a microwave and small refrigerator, but no cooking is allowed in these cabins.  All linens and towels are provided, along with a small toiletry set.  White towels are provided for bathing and colored towels are provided for swimming and/or spills.  We are a dog friendly facility but ask that dogs stay off the beds.  If you need an old comforter to put on the bed, please let us know.  If your dog will not be joining you during the day, we are happy to walk your dog for you at no additional cost.  Each cabin is equipped with a Breeo fire ring and benches outside.  All Housekeeping cabins are equipped with propane grills, also outside, in addition to full kitchens.  For our American Plan guests, breakfast and dinner are served in the Dining Room and coffee is ready by 6:15 am.  Housekeeping guests may choose to have a meal in the Dining Room a la carte with 24 hours’ notice.

We also have a beach; boat launch; plenty of dock space with electric hook ups at the docks; boat rentals; canoes and kayaks for use at no extra charge; a storage room with fishing seats, life jackets, oars, and paddles; a coin op laundry facility; and Starlink internet.  Cell phones can be used with WiFi calling and there is also a landline phone and printer in the Dining Room.  If you need quarters for laundry, please ask a Staff Member.  If you also need more ice, please ask a Staff Member.  We provide ice at no extra charge for our American Plan guests and $5/bag for our Housekeeping guests.  We do not rent fishing equipment, so please either bring your own or hire a guide who can provide equipment.  We can procure a guide for you that can take up to two people fishing at a time, usually in a Grand Laker canoe.  Some guides have larger boats that can accommodate three people.  We also recommend getting your fishing license ahead of time via the link on our website.  West Grand Lake contains landlock salmon, smallmouth bass, lake trout, and white perch.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.  We look forward to meeting you and hope you have a wonderful stay!
